MARK BALCOS, of BALCOS INSURANCE, INC. OPENING NEW OFFICE IN BELLINGHAM

Mark Balcos, president and founder of Balcos Insurance, has always had big plans for the business. Balcos Insurance first opened its doors in 1985, and was joined by his brother, Scott Balcos, in 1993. Born and raised locally, Mark wanted to create a business that catered to local people. His thoughtful style as an insurance agent has made Balcos Insurance a success, and the business has been growing exponentially ever since. Balcos Insurance now has an incredible staff over 25 strong, and has big plans for the coming months.

Balcos Insurance will have its new, Northwest contemporary style building open shortly, giving Bellingham clients and staff their well-deserved office space near Bellis Fair Mall on East Bakerview. The Balcos office will utilize 2,500 of the 10,000 square feet available. This building is the dreamchild of Mark Balcos, and once complete, will have a natural feel that blends effortlessly with the Bellingham atmosphere. The office is expected to be open for business mid-September.

Since 1985, Mark Balcos has expanded his small independent insurance agency to three offices – in Seattle, Stanwood, and Bellingham – so that all his clients may be served properly and get the local, friendly service they deserve.
