A recent survey of 500 WA drivers by Pure Profile Research (5/2011) revealed that drivers are the most stressed out in the afternoon, and may end up ignoring road rules and speed limits.
Of the 500 people in the study, when stressed and driving:
Losing your concentration for even one moment can put your car and your health in peril. You are much more likely to be in a car accident, and get injured or injure someone else. Additionally, if the car accident is at-fault, you will have more issues with your car insurance later. It is best to remain calm while driving, and focused on the task at hand: Driving.
