General Description:

We are continually accepting applications for full time commercial lines account managers that can work efficiently in a fast paced environment.  Position requires positive attitude and someone who works well within a team.  Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, well organized and independent problem solvers.  Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required, along with a familiarity of the Applied systems operating system or other related software such as AMS.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  2. Manage a book of business in the small to medium size premium range.
  3. Service accounts for our commissioned producers and independently service and grow a book of house accounts.
  4. Market renewal when needed.
  5. Good communication skill with companies.
  6. Ability to compare coverage options and develop proposals.
  7. Review, process and invoice policies.
  8. Round out and refer existing accounts for other types of insurance (Personal, Life, Benefits, Medical etc.).

Qualifications:

  1. An absolute minimum of three years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience as a full charge Account Manager required.
  2. Must currently hold a Property Casualty Agent Producer License. If not a Broker, it will be necessary to obtain a Broker License upon employment.
